The Island is an archipelago of several small islands that serves as the main community hub. [[Player:samboyd|samboyd]] chose the location for its extreme distance from spawn — nearly half a million blocks away — making it virtually impossible to find without coordinates or teleportation.

After [[Player:PluckedHorseHair|PluckedHorseHair]] killed [[Player:samboyd|samboyd]] and several of his allies at the [[Location:samboyd's Base Ruins|original base near spawn]], the surviving players decided to relocate. samboyd chose this remote island chain and began teleporting trusted players to the new location.

The Island quickly grew into a proper settlement with multiple player-built structures, farms, and communal resources. samboyd jokingly referred to it as "Epstein's Island" at various points.

== Mushroom Theme ==

The Island's defining architectural feature is its mushroom theme, a source of both pride and debate among residents. samboyd established the theme early on:
