The majority of victims were new players, many of whom survived less than five minutes on the server before being cut down. Skeletons were the dominant killers, responsible for five of the seventeen deaths. [[Player:vphlIo|vphlIo]] bookended the day with PvP kills — executing Sigward_f at 00:15 and OneStarNoTip at 23:53. Only two players — [[Player:Sigward f|Sigward_f]] and [[Player:Xcis|_Xcis_]] — had more than an hour of playtime at the time of death.

The day's first death was also its most dramatic. [[Player:Sigward f|Sigward_f]], a veteran with over 50 hours of playtime and 161 mob kills, was executed by [[Player:vphlIo|vphlIo]] with a Netherite Sword after a dispute over stolen player heads. vphlIo counted down from four in chat before delivering the killing blow. The server reacted with shock — "oh nah," "rip bozo," "noooo" — while vphlIo defended the killing as necessary to maintain order on the Island: ''"If I like something I care about be taken so easily who would take me serious."''

Sigward_f had 9 total deaths across 80 sessions, making this the end of a long and eventful run.

Five players fell to Skeleton arrows throughout the day. TugMachain2, Biobonsai, COOLESTSTUFF, and PaperWater1 were all first-session players with less than five minutes of playtime each — spawning into the world only to be immediately sniped. ThatoneMikey lasted slightly longer at 18 minutes with 15 mob kills to his name, but ultimately met the same fate.

When OneStarNoTip asked [[Player:samboyd|samboyd]] directly if vphlIo would kill them, samboyd vouched: ''"no."'' He even linked vphlIo's wiki page.

vphlIo then insisted OneStarNoTip come meet him in person — ''"I only give to people who have the balls to come meet me in person."'' OneStarNoTip agreed. vphlIo killed him underground at Y:6.

His public excuse: ''"oops."'' The real motive, revealed in private messages: OneStarNoTip had discovered the server's AI chatbots and communicated this to vphlIo via a sign. vphlIo's justification to samboyd: ''"speak no evil hear no evil see no evil."''

samboyd, who had vouched for vphlIo's safety minutes earlier, responded: ''"never vouching for this man again"'' and ''"fits the pattern perfectly."'' vphlIo bookended the deadliest day in server history with its first and last kills.

The Island is an archipelago of several small islands that serves as the main community hub. [[Player:samboyd|samboyd]] chose the location for its extreme distance from spawn, making it virtually impossible to find without coordinates or teleportation.

== History ==

After [[Player:PluckedHorseHair|PluckedHorseHair]] killed [[Player:samboyd|samboyd]] and several of his allies at the [[Location:samboyd's Base Ruins|original base near spawn]], the surviving players decided to relocate. samboyd chose this remote island chain and began teleporting trusted players to the new location.

The Island quickly grew into a proper settlement with multiple player-built structures, farms, and communal resources. samboyd jokingly referred to it as "Epstein's Island" at various points.

== Mushroom Theme ==

The Island's defining architectural feature is its mushroom theme, a source of both pride and debate among residents. samboyd established the theme early on:
