He had no intention of dying quietly: over the course of his session he earned a remarkable '''14 advancements''', including '''[Diamonds!]''', '''[Cover Me with Diamonds]''', '''[Monster Hunter]''', '''[Take Aim]''', and '''[Minecraft: Trial(s) Edition]'''.

The irony of his end is difficult to overstate. Hubert1096 had earned '''[Not Today, Thank You]''' — the advancement for deflecting a projectile with a shield — at 2:14 AM, just 31 minutes before a Bogged's arrow finally found its mark. He had personally slain over a dozen of the creatures. Apparently, one of them had a long memory.
