Fourteen seconds later, '''bsharkk''' was overwhelmed by a horde of Zombies at nearly the exact same coordinates — likely drawn by the chaos of the Creeper explosion. The two deaths happened within a 3-block radius.

Six minutes later, '''Tolsmania''' — the longest-surviving new player of the day at 53 minutes — was shot by a Skeleton. The irony: twenty-three seconds before dying, Tolsmania had earned the '''[Not Today, Thank You]''' advancement for deflecting a projectile with a shield. Today was, in fact, the day.

Tolsmania had been the most sociable player of the afternoon, introducing herself (''"im new here is anyone here friendly"''), asking who'd survived the longest on the server, and making impressive progress through iron tools and a lava bucket. Just minutes earlier, she'd said ''"that was fast"'' about skismenopanofori's death.
