March 25, 2026 was a mercifully quiet day on Xandaris — just one death, one lesson, and a story that could only happen here. [[Player:Frendo420|Frendo420]] joined the server, said hello, slew a zombie, and was immediately slain by a different zombie, all within two and a half minutes. The zombie did not say hello first.

It would be their only message. Within roughly a minute of that greeting, Frendo420 had punched their first tree (earning '''[Minecraft]'''), triggered the '''[Adventure]''' advancement, and — in a feat of early aggression that deserves some acknowledgment — killed a zombie, claiming the '''[Monster Hunter]''' advancement at 2:25 PM.

The zombie community responded at 2:26 PM. A second zombie, apparently aware of what had just happened to its colleague, slew Frendo420 on the spot. Total playtime: '''2 minutes 20 seconds'''. Total advancements: '''3'''. The irony of dying to the exact mob type you just earned an advancement for hunting is, frankly, a Xandaris classic.
