'''samboyd's Base Ruins''' are the remains of the first structure built on the Xandaris server, located near the world origin. The base was constructed on Day One and served as the server's initial gathering point before the community relocated far from spawn.

== History ==
On the evening of February 15, 2026, [[Player:samboyd|samboyd]] established a small base along a river close to the world origin. As the first players began joining, he invited them to the area, describing it as:

The base quickly became a communal hub. [[Player:samboyd|samboyd]] killed two local villagers while clearing the area, and players like [[Player:Asa Akiraa|Asa_Akiraa]], [[Player:skogsloparen|skogsloparen]], and Ducky were among the first to visit. samboyd warned newcomers that building so close to spawn was risky, but pressed ahead with plans to develop a spawn town on the fresh server.

By the following day, the base had been largely abandoned after [[Player:PluckedHorseHair|PluckedHorseHair]] killed samboyd and several of his allies nearby. The group relocated to [[Location:The Island|The Island]], far from spawn, to avoid further PvP threats. The original structures remain as ruins — a monument to the server's chaotic first hours.
