Silmarillion_1 is a co-admin and staff member on Xandaris responsible for configuring the server's entire LuckPerms rank hierarchy. Named after Tolkien's The Silmarillion, he has died four times (to a witch, a skeleton, a fall at spawn, and a self-inflicted /kill in the Nether) but keeps getting brought back because of his administrative value. With 7.5 hours of play time, he continues to serve as the server's infrastructure admin.

First Life

Silmarillion_1 joined at 12:59, spawning at -1170, 64, -4782. He greeted the server with "hola" and admitted "no habla espanol muy bien :/". He progressed steadily, earning 7 advancements including Stone Age, Monster Hunter, Suit Up, and Not Today Thank You.

At 22:29, he was killed by a Witch using magic.

Second Life

After being unbanned, he returned at 22:36 and immediately spawned underground at world spawn:

samboyd teleported him to safety. Silmarillion_1 settled in and began multitasking:

At 22:52, he was shot by a Skeleton at extreme coordinates (-331817, 69, -249985) — hundreds of thousands of blocks from spawn.

Third Life (10 Seconds)

On his third attempt, he logged in with a different UUID (d8a408c3) at 23:13. RandomSpawnZ placed him at 508, 93, 119 — and he fell from a high place just 10 seconds later.

What followed was a complex ban/unban saga: the RCON unban targeted the wrong UUID, samboyd tried /pardon, and the system still showed him as banned. Multiple cycles of ban/unban via RCON were needed to finally resolve it.

Fourth Death — /kill in the Nether

While in the Nether on admin duties, Silmarillion_1 self-killed using the /kill command — an admin-induced death rather than a survival failure. The casualness of it fit his pattern of treating the deathban as a minor inconvenience.

Admin Work

Silmarillion_1 eventually got back in at 23:38 and was made a server operator. He switched to spectator/creative mode and set up the entire LuckPerms permission hierarchy:

Since then, Silmarillion_1 has continued logging in periodically for admin work — accumulating 7.5 hours of total play time across sessions from February 16 through at least February 21. Most of this time is spent in creative or spectator mode (only 4 km walked on foot vs 18.1 km total distance).
