Orangebubly (styled OrangeBubly) is a player on Xandaris and a member of vphlIo's team. He holds the server record for most advancements (33 total), reached The End and obtained three Elytras, and orchestrated the social engineering of PluckedHorseHair's coordinates — one of the server's most elaborate betrayals. He previously played on the Legendary Hardcore server, the same server samboyd originated from.

Overview

Orangebubly joined the server as an experienced hardcore player, quickly progressing through the game. He reached The End, found End Cities, and collected multiple Elytras — accumulating over 161 km of elytra flight. His orange-gradient nickname was set by samboyd after repeated failed attempts by Orangebubly himself.

The PluckedHorseHair Operation

Orangebubly's most significant contribution to the server's history was social-engineering PluckedHorseHair's location on behalf of vphlIo. The entire operation is documented in private messages:

vphlIo sent Orangebubly to hunt PluckedHorseHair. Orangebubly messaged PluckedHorseHair directly, offering friendship and gifts:

"can you msg me coords if you dont mind, i am not trying to kill you... i have some stuff i can give you"— Orangebubly to PluckedHorseHair

PluckedHorseHair, cautious but tempted, shared his coordinates. Orangebubly immediately relayed them to vphlIo:

"i got his coords..."— Orangebubly to vphlIo

He continued stringing PluckedHorseHair along, promising Elytras, totems, and a mace. When PluckedHorseHair grew suspicious and said he would log off if he saw anyone else, Orangebubly advised vphlIo:

"he sais if he sees anyone else he will log... you should invis"— Orangebubly to vphlIo

PluckedHorseHair eventually moved to Nether 0, 0 and Orangebubly tracked him there, relaying positions in real-time. When PluckedHorseHair finally logged off, vphlIo camped the location. Orangebubly grew impatient:

"how long are we going to wait... i kind of want to do something else"— Orangebubly

Legendary Hardcore

Orangebubly revealed he came from the same server as samboyd — Legendary Hardcore. When PluckedHorseHair asked about it, Orangebubly used it to build credibility:

"legendary hardcore, sam came from that one but he died thats why he created this server"— Orangebubly

He mentioned building four gunpowder farms on that server and distributing five Elytras to other players. He later expressed burnout:

"i have built so much on legendary i am kind of burnt out of building farms and dont want to do it again on this server"— Orangebubly

Discoveries

While exploring, Orangebubly found GigglyBall's dropped head and looted her ender chest through the DeadEnderChest plugin, finding a heavy core among the contents:

"i found gigglyballs head... he had a heavy core!"— Orangebubly

He also discovered that the village area of vphlIo's old base had been griefed and reported the giant sandstone skyscraper built by Asa_Akiraa.

Advancements

Orangebubly earned more advancements than any other player on the server, including:

• The City at the End of the Game / Sky's the Limit — End Cities and Elytra
• Hot Tourist Destinations / Subspace Bubble — Nether challenges
• Ice Bucket Challenge / Those Were the Days / A Terrible Fortress

He collected multiple Elytras from End Cities and asked vphlIo about a gunpowder farm for rockets. He has since won 7 raids, completed 671 villager trades, and killed over 1,700 slimes — suggesting an active slime farm operation.

The OneStarNoTip Killing

During the killing of OneStarNoTip, Orangebubly was the only player to actively warn the victim. When vphlIo falsely claimed to be the server owner, Orangebubly intervened: "bro dont believe him" and identified samboyd as the real owner. The warning was not enough — OneStarNoTip was killed minutes later. vphlIo later listed Orangebubly among the players he considered "safe."

Trivia

• His nickname required multiple attempts — he lacked the SimpleNicks permission and samboyd had to set it manually via /nick admin set.
• Tried running /seed, /crash_assistant, /plugins, /ban, and /dec PluckedHorseHair — exploring what commands were available.
• Asked "who is Anz" — referring to GigglyBall/Ansley's gradient nickname.
• He established a new "very well hidden" base location after vphlIo's village base was griefed.

Orangebubly is one of only two players (along with vphlIo) to have zero deaths on the server with significant playtime. His 2,853 mob kills — including 1,706 slimes and over 500 illagers — make him the server's second-most prolific mob killer behind vphlIo. His 161 km of elytra flight and 7 raid victories further cement his status as one of the server's most active endgame players.
