February 23, 2026 was the deadliest single day in Xandaris history, with 13 player deaths recorded over the course of 16 hours. The carnage began with the murder of Sigward_f just after midnight and continued relentlessly throughout the day, prompting samboyd to declare from Discord: "everyone fking died."
The majority of victims were new players, many of whom survived less than five minutes on the server before being cut down. Skeletons were the dominant killers, responsible for five of the thirteen deaths. Only two players — Sigward_f and _Xcis_ — had more than an hour of playtime at the time of death.

Notable Deaths
The Murder of Sigward_f (00:15)
Main article: The Murder of Sigward_f
The day's first death was also its most dramatic. Sigward_f, a veteran with over 50 hours of playtime and 161 mob kills, was executed by vphlIo with a Netherite Sword after a dispute over stolen player heads. vphlIo counted down from four in chat before delivering the killing blow. The server reacted with shock — "oh nah," "rip bozo," "noooo" — while vphlIo defended the killing as necessary to maintain order on the Island: "If I like something I care about be taken so easily who would take me serious."
Sigward_f had 9 total deaths across 80 sessions, making this the end of a long and eventful run.
The PvP Double Feature (00:15 – 01:14)
Within an hour of Sigward_f's murder, Dirt1358 was also killed by tuodjw with a Netherite Sword. Dirt1358 had only 1.4 hours of playtime and zero mob kills — a far less experienced player caught in the night's violence.
The Skeleton Reign (01:45 – 07:04)
Five players fell to Skeleton arrows throughout the day. TugMachain2, Biobonsai, COOLESTSTUFF, and PaperWater1 were all first-session players with less than five minutes of playtime each — spawning into the world only to be immediately sniped. ThatoneMikey lasted slightly longer at 18 minutes with 15 mob kills to his name, but ultimately met the same fate.
_Xcis_ Falls (12:43)
_Xcis_ was the day's most experienced casualty after Sigward_f, with 9.2 hours of playtime and an impressive 240 mob kills across 28 sessions. Despite this experience, a fall from a high place ended it all. This was _Xcis_'s third death overall.
BOB1414 vs. Witch (14:29)
BOB1414 managed to kill 7 mobs in under five minutes of playtime before being taken out by a Witch's magic — one of the rarer causes of death on the server.
