February 25, 2026 saw 7 player deaths on Xandaris — all from mobs, all new or recently pardoned players, and none surviving longer than an hour. One player managed to die on two different accounts in under ten minutes. Another earned the [Not Today, Thank You] shield advancement 23 seconds before a Skeleton killed them anyway. A pardoned player was given a second chance and lasted 16 minutes.

Zero PvP kills. The mobs did all the work.

Notable Deaths

LeoTheo5 & Blostove — Two Accounts, Ten Minutes (11:48 AM)

LeoTheo5 joined for the first time and was randomly spawned near the world origin. Fifty-three seconds later, a Zombie pushed them off a high place. They didn't earn a single advancement — not even [Stone Age].

Twenty-one seconds after being deathbanned, the same person logged in on an alt account: Blostove. AltDetector flagged them immediately. This time they lasted longer — earning [Stone Age] and [Getting an Upgrade] — but fell from a high place six minutes later, plummeting to Y:-9 deep underground.

samboyd delivered the eulogy: "bro died on 2 diff acounts in 10 minutes" followed by "he was never gonna make it."

GAP11 — The Second Chance (12:22 PM)

Previous death: February 24 — 33 seconds (server record)

GAP11 had died the previous day in just 33 seconds — the fastest death in server history — slain by a Zombie waiting at his login position. samboyd pardoned him hours later, giving him a second life.

GAP11 returned and explored cautiously near samboyd's old starter base. He nearly died immediately from fall damage: "FIRST DAY BACK AND I ALR FELL OF TREE" — then "yeah i felt my heart rate just spike." He found samboyd's old base ("oh this is ur base sam"), crafted stone tools, and started to settle in.

Then a Skeleton shot him near spawn.

samboyd: "sorry brother." Discord user pastaaa: "should have waited to come out." GAP11's second life lasted 16 minutes — a dramatic improvement over 33 seconds, and still not enough.

The 2:20 PM Massacre (2:20 – 2:26 PM)

Three players died within seven minutes near the spawn area — the deadliest burst of the day.

skismenopanofori, a Greek player who had spent much of his session chatting about Greek architecture ("greek is the best builders at europe") and looking for a team ("can i come to smoen team?"), was blown up by a Creeper at 2:20 PM. Fourteen seconds later, bsharkk was overwhelmed by a horde of Zombies at nearly the exact same coordinates — likely drawn by the chaos of the Creeper explosion. The two deaths happened within a 3-block radius.

Six minutes later, Tolsmania — the longest-surviving new player of the day at 53 minutes — was shot by a Skeleton. The irony: twenty-three seconds before dying, Tolsmania had earned the [Not Today, Thank You] advancement for deflecting a projectile with a shield. Today was, in fact, the day.

Tolsmania had been the most sociable player of the afternoon, introducing herself ("im new here is anyone here friendly"), asking who'd survived the longest on the server, and making impressive progress through iron tools and a lava bucket. Just minutes earlier, she'd said "that was fast" about skismenopanofori's death.

Cilst — The Cursed Welcome (4:05 PM)

Cilst joined and was randomly spawned. samboyd welcomed them from Discord at 4:05 PM:

"Cilst I hope u survive homie"

Twelve seconds later, a Zombie killed Cilst. Total server time: two and a half minutes. samboyd's well-wishes had, once again, aged instantly.
