February 28, 2026 claimed 10 players on Xandaris — skeletons, zombies, creepers, and gravity splitting the kills almost evenly. Two players died in under 34 seconds. Three fell from high places. The longest survivor was LostAstronaut404, who spent 3.5 hours building a villager trading hall and was mid-deal with JimmyyJohn when a Drowned walked up and ended it. His response from Discord: "no trouble brother, games the game."

The afternoon was a massacre — eight deaths between 1:00 and 5:06 PM. Then the evening brought tonebro2018, who asked "if i die is it a perm ban?" as his first question, and Binxman54, who said "i cant handle this" three seconds before proving it.

Notable Deaths

LostAstronaut404 — The Trader (2:42 PM)

LostAstronaut404 was doing everything right. Over 3.5 hours, he earned 10 advancements, built a villager trading operation, caught fish, suited up in iron, and was the most socially active player on the server — chatting, advising newcomers ("Gotta give to get"), and bartering with JimmyyJohn for mending books.

He was standing at his trading hall when a Drowned walked up and killed him. He earned the Surge Protector advancement at the exact moment of death — protecting a villager from lightning as he died beside it.

From Discord, seconds later:

"as if, fkn drowned"— LostAstronaut404

"the vils still there bro"— LostAstronaut404, to JimmyyJohn — making sure the villagers survived even if he didn't

"no trouble brother, games the game"— LostAstronaut404

He asked about coming back, learned about alt accounts, and left with: "lmk if you guys run another server soon, peace be apon you, always." When told JimmyyJohn was on his 5th account, he replied: "What you need 5 accounts for bro." samboyd eulogized him: "jesus pfp bro died for our sins."

Gonk461 & NightMare8853 — Dead on Arrival (3:04 PM / 5:06 PM)

Two players set the day's speed records for dying. Gonk461 lasted 34 seconds — blown up by a Creeper before mining a single block, earning a single advancement, or saying a single word. NightMare8853 beat him by one second: 33 seconds, slain by a Zombie. His only contribution to the server was the word "hello." Between them: zero blocks mined, zero mobs killed, zero advancements. 66 combined ticks of existence.

Fyshi1 — Ambushed on Login (1:29 PM)

Fyshi1 wasn't new. He'd played for an hour on February 27, earning 9 advancements — Stone Age through Suit Up, including the rare Cutest Predator (taming an axolotl). He'd built with dark oak, smelted copper, and carved out a decent underground setup.

On February 28, he logged back in. He spawned at Y:-3 — deep inside the cave he'd logged out in. A Skeleton was waiting. 52 seconds later, a full day's progress was erased. One of the more cruel deaths: he never even had a chance to react.

tonebro2018 — He Asked First (7:17 PM)

tonebro2018's very first message on the server was a question:

"if i die is it a perm ban?"— tonebro2018

The answer was yes. He took it in stride, asked to team up ("who wna team?"), announced he was 11 years old and requested family-friendly chat, then set off on an ambitious trek — traveling 7 km including 2.5 km by boat, heading toward coordinates nearly 5,000 blocks from spawn. He typed "?" in chat ten seconds before falling from a high place. Whatever he saw that confused him, it killed him.

Binxman54 — "I Can't Handle This" (10:52 PM)

Binxman54 was friendly from the start — "wsp... hows yall day" — and genuinely liked the server: "this is a good server... i like how theres no hud or any spawn." He asked about anti-cheat, claimed to have coded his own custom HUD, and was flagged by GrimAC for 120 simulation failures shortly before his death.

Three seconds before falling from a high place, he typed:

"i cant handle this"— Binxman54

elisurvival — Name Didn't Help (2:11 PM)

A username like "elisurvival" sets expectations. He did not meet them. He entered the Nether within 7 minutes of first joining — an impressive speedrun — mined gold, and tried to trade 8 gold ingots with other players. Then he fell from a high place 27 minutes into his first session. Five advancements earned, including We Need to Go Deeper. The irony of the name was not lost.
