Sigward_f is a Swedish player and one of the core members of the Xandaris community. He was a trusted ally of samboyd, a resident of The Island, and the server's most prolific (consensual) killer of the admin. His Discord name is "mr Sigward." On February 23, 2026, he was murdered by vphlIo over stolen player heads — the most controversial killing in server history.
History
Early Days — Arrival & First Death (February 16)
Sigward_f's first recorded login was on February 16, 2026, though RandomSpawnZ indicated he had joined before — likely during the setup phase on Feb 15. Within four minutes of logging in, he killed samboyd in PvP — the first of what would become a running theme.
He spent his first session exploring the area, planting seeds, and probing the server's command system (running /help, /perms, and /bukkit:help in rapid succession). By midday, he had earned the [Not Today, Thank You] advancement for blocking a projectile with a shield.
His luck ran out shortly after — Sigward_f was shot by a Stray and received his first hardcore deathban. samboyd pardoned him via RCON.
What followed was a brutal administrative gauntlet: Sigward was unbanned and teleported to various locations, only to suffocate in walls four consecutive times due to unsafe spawn points. Each death triggered another auto-ban, each followed by another pardon. The spawn death cycle claimed five lives before a safe teleport destination was found.
The barryjeans Ambush
Later that evening, while waiting for a teleport back to base, Sigward_f was slain by barryjeans using a weapon named "[ss]" — his only real PvP death on record at the time. He was once again pardoned and teleported to safety, though not before suffocating in a wall and falling to his death one more time during the recovery process.
In total, Sigward died eight times on his first full day — though only two deaths (the Stray and barryjeans) were genuine gameplay deaths. The other six were administrative casualties.
Island Life & Building (February 17–19)
Once safely established at The Island, Sigward settled into the role of base builder and resident provocateur. He constructed a mushroom-themed house using mushroom stem blocks, which received mixed reviews:

He also became the target of an HOA (Home Owners Association) roleplay — receiving violation notes and being told his builds didn't meet community standards. His response was characteristically blunt:

The Admin's Executioner
Sigward became samboyd's go-to test subject for plugin development. Whenever samboyd needed someone killed to test the death message system, the DeadEnderChest plugin, or the #deaths Discord channel, he called on Sigward and his Diamond Axe.
Sigward killed samboyd three times across the server's first few days — all consensual. When cuppobear asked "Why are you a murderer Sigward?" he responded:

The Nickname Incident
samboyd once impersonated Sigward by running /nick Sigward_j. Sigward's response: "fake sigward wtf". PluckedHorseHair joined in: "no im the real sigward".
samboyd eventually gave Sigward a custom gradient nickname in yellow-to-blue, which PurpleBumblebeez complimented: "love sigwards color".
Spawn-Killed by vphlIo (February 20)
On February 20 at 00:33, Sigward_f logged into the server at coordinates -93, 63, 7 — near world origin. vphlIo had logged in just 4 seconds earlier at -104, 64, 15, less than 15 blocks away.
37 seconds after logging in, vphlIo killed Sigward_f at X:-100, Y:63, Z:14.
"Sigward_f was slain by vphlIo"
There was no chat between them before the kill. It was a pure spawn kill — both players happened to log in at nearly the same location near the origin, and vphlIo struck immediately. Sigward_f's head was dropped on death.
Remarkably, the DeathBan plugin failed to ban Sigward_f due to AccessDeniedException errors with the player data files. He reconnected just 6 seconds after being killed and continued playing. Both players earned the Surge Protector advancement from the encounter.
The two later engaged in extended toxic trash-talk in chat, with vphlIo challenging Sigward_f to meet at coordinates -20000, 10000 for a rematch. Sigward_f responded with homophobic slurs and insults, escalating the conflict further.
Murdered by vphlIo (February 23)
Despite the February 20 incident, Sigward and vphlIo had returned to cooperative terms. vphlIo had outfitted Sigward with full enchanted netherite, elytras, and shulkers. But Sigward had been taking player heads from vphlIo's trophy collection without permission.
On February 23 at 00:15 UTC, vphlIo confronted Sigward at The Island. Sigward tried to negotiate — "you have 3 i can have 1" — but vphlIo counted down from four and executed him with his Netherite Sword.
"Sigward_f was slain by vphlIo somehow using Netherite Sword"
Sigward's head was dropped and his ender chest was looted. samboyd, who witnessed the killing, called it "overkill" and said Sigward was "borderline innocent" — but took no admin action.
From Discord, Sigward argued that vphlIo gave no real warning beyond the countdown:

His final words:
"its not on you sam, just vhp who gets hurt easily, like a child"— Sigward_f
Sigward_f has not returned to the server since.

Sigward_f is the server's most prolific terraformer — his diamond shovel usage and dirt/sand mining dwarf every other player. His 64,814 jumps are also the server record. Despite being known primarily as a builder, he completed 1,111 villager trades — a massive trading operation that puts him second only to vphlIo in villager commerce.
