skogsloparen (Swedish for "the forest runner") is a player on Xandaris who has died twice and been unbanned twice — once to a skeleton after 9 minutes of play, and once to a wall suffocation glitch at spawn after 7 seconds. Despite his remarkable bad luck, he maintains an excellent sense of humor about it.
First Life[edit]
skogsloparen joined at 01:09 on February 16, spawning at -1908, 102, 3247. He greeted the server with "hola" and complimented Asa_Akiraa's username. He earned Stone Age and Getting an Upgrade quickly.
At 01:19 — just 9 minutes after joining — he was shot by a skeleton.
"omg he died"— samboyd
"so he's now banned from the server"— samboyd, explaining hardcore to others
He tried to reconnect at 08:20 but received the ban message.
Second Life (7 Seconds)[edit]
After being unbanned via RCON at 13:05, skogsloparen returned at 16:07, spawning at world spawn (16, 70, 0). He immediately disconnected and reconnected — then suffocated in a wall at spawn after just 7 seconds.
The spawn point had a known glitch where players could get stuck inside blocks. An RCON message was sent:
"hey can you help skogsloparen, he was stuck in a wall on spawn"
He was unbanned again via RCON at 16:11.
Third Life[edit]
skogsloparen returned at 16:22. samboyd teleported him to safety this time. On his third attempt at life, he delivered the iconic line:
"death is merely a suggestion when you are me"— skogsloparen
He earned Monster Hunter and Ice Bucket Challenge, asked if the dragon had been killed yet, found a house, and explored before logging off at 17:07. He has since had brief logins at distant coordinates near vphlIo's territory.
