Event:Obituaries March 20
Saturday, March 20, 2026 was a quiet day on Xandaris — four deaths, zero PvP, and an unbroken streak of mob justice. Two creepers and two skeletons divided the casualties evenly, making no distinction between the hopeful and the doomed. The day's standout was CosmicSnuggles, who survived over two hours and earned 14 advancements before a single creeper erased everything, while killer_man123 provided the afternoon's darkest punchline.

Notable Deaths[edit]
CosmicSnuggles — Two Hours, Fourteen Advancements, One Creeper (9:04 AM)[edit]
Of the four players lost on March 20, CosmicSnuggles was the only one who came close to making Xandaris a home. Their session opened in the early hours with a sprint of hard-earned milestones — [Sweet Dreams] and [Not Today, Thank You] arrived within a minute of each other — and by 8:34 AM, [Country Lode, Take Me Home] confirmed someone was navigating with purpose. Twelve minutes later, at 8:46 AM, [Diamonds!] sealed the day's highlight reel.
With 36 diamonds mined, 95 mob kills to their name (47 zombies, 12 skeletons, 10 spiders, and — with cruel irony — 1 creeper), and 1,452 blocks broken, CosmicSnuggles had put in real work. One minute after diamonds, they sent their one and only message of the session:
"hello"— CosmicSnuggles
Just over seventeen minutes later, at 9:04 AM, a creeper replied. The full tally of 14 advancements — including [Ice Bucket Challenge], [Isn't It Iron Pick], [Suit Up], and [Diamonds!] — stands as the day's lone monument to what could have been.
VaidasJay — The Question That Answered Itself (10:00 AM)[edit]
VaidasJay arrived at 9:57 AM and, within a minute of joining, asked the most important question on the server:
"so u die here and cannot join back anymore?"— VaidasJay
The answer came not in text, but in the form of a skeleton arrow at 10:00 AM — just over two minutes after the question was posed. VaidasJay had mined 190 blocks and collected exactly one advancement ([Adventure]) before the server provided its demonstration. Whether the answer arrived before the screen went red is unknown.
Undeterred — or perhaps still processing the situation — VaidasJay attempted to reconnect approximately fifteen seconds after death, logging back in for exactly one second before the door closed:
| Session | Duration | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 3 min 0 sec | Killed by Skeleton |
| 2 | 1 sec | Reconnect attempt |
killer_man123 — Hubris, Spelled Wrong (12:07 PM)[edit]
The name arrived with promise. The performance did not. killer_man123 joined at 12:04 PM and spent their first twenty-nine seconds asking the server a critical question — twice:
"id this hardcore"— killer_man123
"is this harcore"— killer_man123
No reply came in time. At 12:05 PM, [Stone Age] offered a brief flicker of progression. By 12:07 PM, a skeleton had closed the matter, ending the career of killer_man123 in three minutes and seven seconds with three advancements and zero mob kills to show for it. The name, the bravado, the double typo — all of it now belongs to history.
