Lkyge — Into the Void (12:19 PM)

Lkyge is no newcomer to Xandaris, and March 7 was shaping up to be a substantial day — nine sessions spread across the early morning and afternoon, including at least one stretch exceeding two hours. By the time the final session began at 11:50 AM EST, they had already earned [Suit Up] (diamond armor equipped) and [Sky's the Limit], suggesting they were operating well above the ground floor of progression. Then, somewhere past the edge of whatever they were exploring, the floor simply was not there.

Falling into the void is among the more definitive ways to go in Minecraft. There is no water bucket save, no ledge to catch, no last-second grapple. Whatever brought Lkyge to that particular drop — the session logs show zero mob kills and zero blocks mined, pointing to travel rather than combat — it ended without ceremony. TH_Xxain — The Thirteenth Golem (2:22 PM)

TH_Xxain joined at 1:18 PM with what appeared to be a plan. Over the next hour and four minutes, they executed it with unusual efficiency. [Stone Age] at 8:38 PM, [Getting an Upgrade] at 8:39 PM, [What a Deal!] — a villager trade, remarkably — at 8:49 PM, and finally [Monster Hunter] at 8:52 PM. The [Monster Hunter] advancement requires killing at least one of every type of hostile mob. MeoPlayit completed it at the exact moment a zombie was completing them.

Seven advancements in sixteen minutes is a genuinely solid pace. MeoPlayit had tools, a trade under their belt, and a hostile mob kill résumé to show for it. The zombie that ended the session was, technically, the last checkmark on the Monster Hunter list — which makes it both the cause of death and the achievement that triggered the final advancement banner. A fitting, if painful, way to go out.
