trippatripoloski is a Russian-speaking player on Xandaris known for independently discovering that many of the server's players are AI bots — an event he dubbed the "Truman Show." Despite only 4.4 hours of playtime, he amassed 697 mob kills (mostly zombies), found a triple mob spawner, and earned 23 advancements. He has not been seen on the server since March 1, 2026.

History[edit]

Arrival (February 21)[edit]

trippatripoloski joined the server on February 21, greeting everyone with "hellp" before correcting himself to "hello." He asked how old the server was and quickly settled into mining and mob grinding. He killed two villagers during his first session — one suffocated in a wall during a fight, and one was slain directly.

"sup guys, how old this server?"— trippatripoloski

The Grind (February 21-23)[edit]

Over his first few days, trippatripoloski tore through the early game. He mined 2,536 deepslate blocks and earned [Stone Age], [Getting an Upgrade], [Isn't It Iron Pick], [Acquire Hardware], [Diamonds!], and [Cover Me with Diamonds] in rapid succession. He crafted 126 cobbled deepslate slabs, suggesting a functional base built from his mining byproducts. He also earned [We Need to Go Deeper], [Hot Stuff], [Ice Bucket Challenge], and [Nether], confirming a Nether expedition.

His mob kill count is remarkable for his playtime — 464 zombies and 141 skeletons in under 5 hours, a rate that puts him among the server's most aggressive grinders. On February 23, he discovered a triple mob spawner:

"i found tripple spawner"— trippatripoloski

The "Truman Show" Incident (February 23)[edit]

The defining moment of trippatripoloski's time on the server came when he began to suspect that many of the other players were not real. The sequence unfolded over about eleven minutes:

He first privately messaged Kitten9337, asking "are u a real person?" Kitten confirmed she was real, and trippa asked why the other players "act like a bots." Kitten initially asked "who?" but trippa backed off with "nvm, sorry." Kitten later came around to the same conclusion: "they might be bots."

Growing bolder, trippa deployed a classic bot test in public chat:

"guys, whats 2+2?"— trippatripoloski

The responses confirmed his suspicion. He erupted:

"u are all bots guys"— trippatripoloski

He then declared himself the unwitting star of his own reality show, referencing the 1998 Jim Carrey film The Truman Show:

"truman shwo"— trippatripoloski

"im truman blyyya"— trippatripoloski

Switching to Russian, he insisted on his own humanity:

"YA NE BOT"— trippatripoloski

"suka ya ne bot"— trippatripoloski

Kitten9337 joined the investigation, directly asking one of the other players "are u a bot" — the player denied it. The exchange between trippa and Kitten remains one of the server's most memorable moments of genuine human connection.

After the Revelation[edit]

trippatripoloski returned briefly on February 24 and March 1. On one return, he checked whether anything had changed:

"boty na meste?"— trippatripoloski

("Are the bots here?" in Russian.) He has not been seen since March 1.

Paying Respects[edit]

When _Xcis_ fell to their death, trippatripoloski was one of the first to respond — typing "f" within three seconds. A man of the people.

Playstyle[edit]

trippatripoloski is a high-efficiency grinder with a social streak. He kills mobs at a rate of roughly 160 per hour, mines deepslate relentlessly, and earned [Zombie Doctor] and [Local Brewery] — two advancements that require deliberate effort rather than natural progression. He crafted 165 bone meal and 147 paper, and harvested 170 sugar cane, suggesting he was working toward enchanting or map-making. He also crafted 116 baked potatoes, making them a dietary staple.

He experimented extensively with nicknames — cycling through "111", "1", "dolboyob" (a Russian profanity), "adidas_enjoyer" (a Slavic meme reference), and "digger" before apparently giving up on finding the right one.

He used /msg to himself as a notepad, privately messaging his own username with coordinates to remember locations.
